Heeeey Ultrasun, I'm back!
I have been an Ultrasun user for many years. Suffering from Rosacea and hereditary Scottish paleness, SPF is a must for my kids and I all year round. In winter I made the switch from this product to a well known natural skincare brand, same SPF but needed more regular application. It worked well in winter to early spring but I since then I had really noticed the difference in the level of protection and my freckle count when the UV level increased into Spring. Back to Ultrasun and ergo this review.
The product is fast absorbing and non greasy. You apply once a day to clean skin, I normally wait 10-15 minutes then follow with moisturiser, make up etc. It's important to do it in this order before you go outside or sit by a window with your cuppa. I also highly recommend Ultrasun Family SPF30 and Feel Unique for almost always being the best price on Ultrasun.
For anyone worried about stingy eyes: I also have Blepharitis and eye sensitivity. The reason I became a fan of it in the first place was because it was the only SPF I knew of that didn't sting my eyes. Good luck!

Really good product
The formula of this sunscreen is very light and easy to apply. One of the things that usually worries me when purchasing sun protection is that it can be streaky and leave me with white lines but the formula definitely allows for quick absorption and leaves no lines. My skin feels smoother after applying but there is a possibility that’s caused by other steps of my skin care routine. Overall, I would recommend this product, especially given that my skin is temperamental and usually reacts negatively to most products but I haven’t any problems with this one.

Good facial sunblock
This is a good facial sunblock - I have sensitive acne-prone skin as well as sensitive eyes, and unlike other facial sunblocks I've used, this one doesn't cause any breakouts and I can use it near my eyes without causing them to sting/water. The consistency is quite thin/runny, and while this is a plus in that it is light on the skin and doesn't block pores, it can still leave traces of white, so needs to be rubbed in properly. My only quibble is that unlike another product I have used by the same company, this claims only to be 'long-lasting', rather than to last all day, hence I have to reapply it once a day in the summer to be on the safe side. It isn't the cheapest either, but I consider it worth the money as it lasts a good few weeks.

Lovely spf
Quite impressed with this, it’s def more if an spf than a moisturiser with spf, so if you’re looking for a moisture boost too, this isn’t the one. I am very pale skinned so the white cast doesn’t bother me, but that does seem to fade once I’ve applied my makeup. I sometimes have issues with spots when wearing spf, and this hasn’t given me any, would re purchase.

Best face SPF
The best face spf I have tried. Sinks in well over serum, moisturiser etc and doesn't leave a greasy sheen or a white cast. My skin has also improved since using this.

I bought this for winter as I saw it was very think and moisturising for dry weather which it was. I have a normal skin type. My skin felt moisturised throughout the day. However, it left a white caste on my face and it looked like I was wearing foundation shade lighter than my skin. My skin tone is tanned. I felt embarrased to wear it so I gave it to my friend who has fair skin. I think this product would work for someone with a fair skin tone. I wish ultrasun would try to make sun cream that works for all skin tone.

Just what I look for in a SPF
This is my favourite SPF. It's quite a thick lotion - still not thick enough to be a cream - but I like that, personally! It's not sticky; it's light and comfortable and doesn't really give a white cast. It actually makes my skin look really good? It weirdly has a smoothing effect. I didn't expect that, but I'll totally take it! It's just what I look for in an SPF: fragrance free, excellent formula and high factor. AND it is really good value for money. This lasted me months, and I used it daily!

Yes, sunscreen is the last step in skincare and make up is applied on top of it.
