Oh wow!
I have curly hair with a lot of frizz which often looks really messy. I read a review for this shampoo in a magazine and decided to take the risk - I am so pleased I did! It has a lovely, unobtrusive fragrance; my hair is softer, less frizzy and - best of all - it doesn't need washing as often. Teamed up with the conditioner, it's given my hair new life. I also have a sensitive scalp which had been irritated by hair colour and it has calmed that down, too. It's worth paying the extra - and no nasty stuff in the ingredients. I am really impressed and even though this shampoo has made my curls soft and 'ringletty', I will probably try the curly hair shampoo next to see what that does!

Not for me
So sorry but this shampoo doesn't suit my hair. I have long fine hair, and using this shampoo has made it look lifeless and dull, almost like there is a residue left, and has actually caused the skin on my scalp to go slightly flaky which is something I've never experienced before. It is soft though. sadly won't be using the rest of the bottle.

Beautiful fragrance in the bottle
I was very excited to hear about this product, and so, after smelling it, bought both this and the conditioner. In the bottle it smells absolutely gorgeous, Aveda's main selling point for this product, however, my hair had no cherry almond aroma after using it, not even slightly. I even tried leaving the conditioner on overnight as a treatment, to see if that made a difference, but again could not detect even a hint of it. I have also found this with other ranges, the fragrances don't translate to the hair. Aveda products are very good, but disappointed with this one, as I bought it based on the promise of the beautiful fragrance.

Glad I found it
I used aveda many years ago but found it drying on my hair. After scalp issues with regular store bought shampoo that's was stated to be sls free. I finally decided to give aveda another go as I was fed up of flakes and itchy sore scalp I decided the cherry purely for the scent, trying a travel size set first of all This has worked wonders. No more scalp issues and my hair is shiny and happy The conditioner of this range I feel not quite conditioning enough and I do comb through from roots to tips, leaving a few minutes before rinsing Since using this range I've had less hair fall on washing as well.. with loads of new growth around the hairline I still have to use a leaving in (regular store kind that's silicon free)for my dry ends Other than dry ends my hair is blonde (with natural white highlights) and fine .. which due to covid and working is washed daily. Anyone with blonde hair will know it's hard to get a shine. But since using this shampoo and conditioner I have shine!!!! Recommended especially for daily hair washing

Excellent for dry hair
I have curly, coloured hair which is very dry and frizzy if I do not get my shampoo and conditioner right. I have had problems with the last few hair products I have bought, not from Aveda. After reading all the reviews for Aveda shampoo and conditioner ranges I tried this and I am pleased I did. It smells lush and my hair is soft, shiny and easy to style.

WOW!
Ordered online and used both the shampoo and conditioner for the first time today. Absolutely delighted with the results. I have a short choppy bob and it blow dried smooth and full and looked SO good. I only ever use Aveda products on my hair and I'm often complimented on its shine and condition. Thankyou Aveda x

I would never buy this or suggest
This shampoo and conditioner was used and suggested in an Aveda salon, London before my cut and was recommended to me. Unfortunately, I bought the biggest bottle. It turns out that it makes my hair very very frizzy and it sits heavy on my scale unlike shampure shampoo and conditioner of Aveda. Would not encourage anyone to buy before really testing it out.

This is my second bottle of this shampoo. Nourishes the hair beautifully and it smells amazing. You only need a small amount. I only use the matching conditioner on alternate washes as my hair remains silky soft just from the shampoo. I have straight/blonde shoulder length hair. Would highly recommend. Love aveda
