Strange design
Oddly expensive for a product you can accidentally ruin on first use. Both lids fit both ends BUT get it wrong & you'll discover the padded end's lid completely crushes the actual liner end as it's much shorter. So you've now lost the lovely point, it's rammed it back into the body of the product AND it won't now twist up. All on the first use. I bought the purple coloured one & it's very dark, not especially purpley, & drags on the skin. I'm sure it's prob better if you're using 7 other base products & setters & all that stuff, but putting it on naked skin isn't a smooth experience.

Would be a fab eyeliner, but what a waste.....
I have now bought 3 of these as the colour True Khaki is exactly the right shade for me. However, each pencil has lasted little more than a month. I apply it lightly once a day. I thought that perhaps the first eyeliner was faulty, but after 2 further purchases I now know that Clinique are simply putting very little product in the pencil. It seems very un-environmental as the packaging is such a a huge waste for such a small amount of product. Sadly, I think I will have to go back to Chanel, as although it is more expensive, there is less waste of plastic as one pencil lasts for at least 4 months (a pity because I prefer your shade!). Clinique - please you need to re-think this. I can see that most other reviewers have found the same issue.

excellent! however..
I can't understand the fact that noone seems to have experienced the same problem as I have! This is without a doubt the best eyeliner I've ever used in terms of long-lasting wear, top lid AND bottom. However, within a week of using the product it stopped working and nothing was coming out. I twisted it and twisted it but it was no use, so I was left with no choice but to get a replacement. The lovely, helpful Clinique lady at the counter noticed the oddity and gave me a brand new quickliner. Though after two weeks, you guessed it, it broke AGAIN! and I am very careful with my make-up, especially the more expensive brands. I just hope they let me exchange it this time.

This is the ONLY eye pencil I use, and it is brilliant, practical, beautiful, survives being dropped or packed, is relatively unaffected by changes in temperature (I travel to very hot and very cold places). Also wears well through surf or snow. But what has happened to Moss--the color that defines me, and that I ordered 3 at a time? I can't be the only customer with brown hair and hazel eyes, for which this is the perfect accent?

Brilliant and idiot proof
As someone who has repeatedly almost blinded myself stabbing myself in the eye trying to get the perfect eye line or looked like a biro had leaked on my eyelid using liquid liner Quickliner could not have come at a better time. As easy to use product with a long body which makes it easy to hold and direct over the eye lid, the smudge-tip is brilliant for creating a smokey eyed look or if my line gets a bit squint and i want to smudge it in a bit. Between this and the lid smoothie my eye lid routine is set for life. And it does not leave me with red rimmed, itchy eyes when I take it off at night.

Not a good buy
The tube won't twist, just goes round and round, so you can't extend the pencil. Then when I touched the pencil tip it broke off. I managed to return the first purchase but the second one is no better. It seems very badly manufactured. A pity as I love the colour.

Poor design, expensive and little quantity
Retracting the pen is one way only out. If by mistake you retract out more than you need it you can not retract in the product which doesn't make sense as long as it was suppose to be designed to move in and out the quantity as much as you need. If by mistake you took out too much, that product is lost and all the quantity is breaking down As for the quality it is soft, less than you would expect, but the color is nice, I had a brown one.

Binned immediately
I am a frequent customer of Clinique and am so appalled by the quality of this pencil. The twisting mechanism didn't work, the product broke off on day one and the whole thing had to be binned. I am so disappointed , it was a waste of money.

I always use under my lash line but can be used for inside too. I have used this eyeliner for years and years and won’t use any other!
