Not a good product.
The formula does not blend well and is very patchy (no matter the application method - beauty blender, brushes, fingers). It seemed to have a pilling effect when placed on top of other skin care products which is not ideal (irrespective of whether I let the products fully dry before application). It has a greasy consistency and is far more heavily tinted than I had anticipated. Consequently, I could not put enough of this moisturiser on (whilst still looking acceptable) for it to possibly offer the SPF 30 coverage described. I really cannot emphasise enough how rubbish I found this product to be - there are plenty of better options on the market.

Product formula change READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING.
The formula has been changed which has changed the colour of the product and it’s consistency. I ordered the natural shade which I have worn for years and it was too light, I was unable to return it and unable to use it, very disappointing.
If you’re a long term lover of this product don’t order online until you are sure of the new colours.

My favourite alternative to foundation
I have been using this for the last couple of year more so in the summer when my complexion was nicer and I just needed to even it out without having a heavy foundation look.
Since lockdown it has been my go to staple. It gives a dewy look which covers blemishes but looks effortless. I have now got rid of all my foundations as I feel they are just too heavy.
I use the shade natural and there is a slight tint but without the orangey look which some give.
Would highly recommend for an effortless look.
The product usually lasts me 2-3months as only a small amount is needed as it goes far.

I love it!!
I have been using this for about a week after purchasing a while back... And I love how this makes my skin look and feel. The finish is very natural and skin like, colour is almost perfect, it lasts incredibly well through a 8hr shift, gives the skin a very skin like glow, my skin never feels dry, I pair it with the bare minerals veil powder underneath and ontop, don't be alarmed by texture looking abit gloopy and separated, it's due the formulation I would imagine.
It also does not irritate my skin or cause any further blemishes... Highly recommended and no fragrance.

looks great, odd texture
So I love this. It's super easy to apply with fingers for a last min bit of make up to brighten you up. Both vanilla and opal are fabulous shades for really pale gals like me, it works beautifully sheer over freckles too. However I find the product sometimes has an initially grainy texture. It blends out, and very quickly emulsifies it's self but fresh out the tube it looks kind of split or curdled. for the price I'd really expect not to have this problem. I don't know if it's something to do with the minerals and natural-ness of the brand but it really isn't ideal or pleasant. It's not a one off problem either, every tube I've had had this issue. So yeah, I love this, but I wish it felt a little more high end. I also think it would be amazing if it had a pump!

Very lightweight coverage
I’m on the fence about this product. It just seems a bit too shimmery for me. I also think I need a brush to apply it evenly. It is nice and light weight but not great coverage. I put it on after sunscreen/moisturiser and then dust with a bit of powder where I don’t want sheen. It wasn’t obvious I was wearing it as it wasn’t heavy but I kinda knew it was there and it felt unnecessary. I think I generally just do better with powder and don’t like extra stuff on my skin. Feels good quality though.

Great all rounder !
I have been using this since it was first introduced to the range of Baremineral products. Now its even better as they introduced some extra shades, though don't worry if you are concerned about getting the right shade the first time as I can wear 3 of these shades no problem !!! They blend into your face with no effort either using your fingers or the Baremineral brush. I have slightly sensitive skin and fine this and other Baremineral products are kind to the skin. The coverage is medium though you can add a dusting of the original foundation over the top if you want a stronger coverage. Complexion rescue sunscreen is a bonus too. I do own the complexion rescue in the stick form and the orginal loose .....but this one is my go to product most days.

Disappointed :(
I’m a bit disappointed in this product. I bought it for work with the sole purpose of covering some mild acne inflammation. I like bb creams usually but bare minerals is usually recommended by dermatologists because it contains minimally irritating ingredients (again, perfect for acne sufferers). I have to say though, the texture of this is very odd. It doesn’t sit well at all over sunscreen and even moisturiser (even when I leave it to dry for 30 minutes). It kept separating on my skin and in the end just looked very patchy. Given the price and how hyped this product is, I thought I would get something better. Oh well!

I wear Fair Ivory 02 as well, in Winter when I'm palest, and I use Vanilla 02 in Complexion Rescue. I bought these at the same time from a BM consultant.

I found these quite light so I think either 1, 1.5 or 2. I’m really fair and got vanilla and it was a bit too cool. Wish I’d gone one or even two up for summer

Hi I currently use the bare minerals liquid foundation in the shade Sable, what colour would I need in this tinted complexion rescue please?
I am unsure as I don’t use the foundation . However the tinted moisturiser is quite sheer so I would guess the same colour would work well. For me this product is awesome but a little shiny so I often add a little powder on top and avoid adding to the end of my nose. It’s a great product if you are happy with a little iridescent shine
