No more red cheeks!
I suffer with a rosacea like skin tone, it has become quite the challenge to find makeup that has enough coverage but still is natural looking..
I never would have thought that a mineral powder foundation would give me all that I was looking for! This product is now my favourite product ever, comfortable and lightweight on the skin, looks natural but gives me the coverage I need.
I've attached an image showing my skin with and without foundation (my skin is not irritated in this image, it has always been that red) need to show the difference!

Think i have tried every liquid foundation out ...
Think i have tried every liquid foundation out there, so was a big decision to try a powder foundation. I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome. I have bad mild acne prone skin and i felt that liquids clogged up my skin and looked cakey. I read reviews where people had mentioned their skin improved so i hope mine does over time. My skin used to get oily too but with this powder my face stays matte and fresh looking. I would recommend everyone give this a try. It gives amazing coverage without being too heavy and that really works for my skin!! Would recommend you test a colour in store first and then buy from here. So much cheaper!

5 star product!
I have repurchased this product many times as it is a staple in my makeup collection. The colour matches my skin tone perfectly, and the product is fabulous. It is quick and easy to apply, evens out skin tone, minimises pores and most importantly makes my skin look like actual skin rather than caking it up like other foundations.
I use this either on its on for a quick or basic makeup look, or use it on top of a full coverage liquid foundation to minimise pores, set everything in place and leave my skin looking like real skin.
The only downside is that this product isn’t great for coverage on my skin - which can be blemish prone.

Great Foundation!
After using liquid-based foundations for years I opted to try Bare Minerals Original powder foundation, as I have oily/combined skin that is acne prone and felt like the liquid foundations were making my skin worse. Think it's safe to say I'll never go back to liquid foundations!! Once applied the powder becomes more creamy and provides great coverage - can be built up for an even fuller coverage if desired too. Helps control the oil but not much, but has definitely helped my acne problem! It's extremely light on my face and I feel like my skin can breathe while I work in a busy hotel/restaurant environment. Pleasantly surprised with this product and I will definitely be buying it again.

just the best!!
I sold bare minerals when i worked in a holiday resort spa and have been hooked ever since. i used it in my work on clients for weddings and special occasions. when used correctly, nothing else gives more natural and beautiful coverage. a moisturiser and silicone primer should always be applied first, it doesn't look the same without!! the more you blend it, the better it looks. I apply summer bisque concealer and then golden tan. I wash my BM brushes once a week and still have the same ones they are great quality.

Honestly, this is the best foundation I have ever used, I've tried quite a few and since my primer has run out I've been using this without a primer and it's still the most flawless, glowy, complementing foundation I've ever tried. I have pretty bad skin, it's very dry on the cheeks, I have big pores, uneven skin tone and texture, my t zone can get shiny but wouldn't say oily, and I get spots (usually from stress), and yet when I have this on I just look like I'm wearing nothing but I have good skin, I love this product and the only thing I could possibly say about it I don't love is maybe the wear, I'd like for a longer wearing however still 10X better than anything else I've had

I Love this foundation! I suffer with rosacea and need a full coverage foundation. I often use Estée Lauder double wear or everlasting by Clarins, but my skin breaks out In spots if i wear them daily. So this is my go to foundation for the in between days. The coverage is completely buildable and it makes your skin look so healthy! (Apparently it’s so good that you can even sleep in it!!) I recommend using a good moisturiser before applying the foundation and a small brush to buff onto the skin in circular motions. You definitely would not be disappointed with this foundation - it’s a must!!

Meh, an overrated product....
So I got this as a birthday gift and I have tried to use it, but I can honestly say it doesn't work for me. I am someone who likes foundation to be full to medium but natural. But, I hate this. I do the whole swirl tap and buff thing but it literally feels like I'm putting nothing on my skin and I am just swirling an empty brush on my face.
That being said, I use a normal liquid foundation and then use this on top just to fully buff out my make up and it makes a difference then. But other than this, this is no use to me and I feel like this is an over hyped product.

Hi I'm currently using Bare Minerals 05 fairly medium in matte as I have mature oily skin but I'm unable to buy this anywhere. What's the nearest shade to this I could use instead? I don't want a shade that will either look too dark or make me look pale.

Yes you can do this but may get different shades each time. I would mix quite a lot until I got the correct shade and put it in another pot and use from there.
