Not bad
I was recommended this by a friend so decided to give it a try. I have already tried many other brands but this far not quite been happy. This one is no exception. It is buildable and if you like a strong black thick appearance this is for you. I like those features myself but my pet hate is clumps. Sadly after using it for a couple of weeks it started to get more clumpy which is a shame. That aside it's easy enough to remove with a good makeup remover but stays put otherwise. It doesn't disappear during the day unlike other brands. It's not waterproof but smudge proof. I will continue to use but doubt I will buy another. Still on the hunt for the perfect mascara sadly.

Too thick & Clumpy
The first week it was ok and I started to think it might be a winner. I like long sleek separated lashes. By week 3 of using, there are massive clumps on the wand, it goes on so thick it takes half an hour to dry. You cant separate the lashes at all if you tried it would just end up with lumps everywhere and so thick you wouldn't even be able to blink. I am going to wipe the wand clean and start again, but a huge waste of money to do this. Will not purchase again. Very disappointing.I expect a lot better for the money.

Top Tier Mascara
I got this as a mini in a Christmas present and have been blown away by how good it is. I've previously splashed out on a Bobbi Brown mascara so the price doesn't deter me at all. This mascara stays on all day without transferring or flaking off which I've found is a key problem with a lot of other mascaras. I also love how big the wand is as it helps to give full volume to my lashes. I think at first all mascaras are clumpy due to the amount of product in the tube so once you get using it there are no disappointments!

Love love love it
A great mascara which really add length and volume. It’s the only one I wear. Can be clumpy so you need to make sure there’s not too much on there. Washes of easily!!

Best mascara!
I’m on my second tube of this mascara and I have to say it’s amazing! It makes my lashes thicker and longer, doesn’t smudge and looks good all day long.

Simply the best
I hope this mascara is never discontinued, ive been buying this for years and its still the best, intense volume without clumping, smudge proof and leaves lashes looking so glossy & plumped, it just looks stunning every time.

Goes on well but smudges
I’ve been trying out cruelty-free vegan mascaras and this is one of the best ones upon application. It doesn’t clump and always deposits the perfect amount of product upon my eyelashes to make them look amazing. However as the day wears on it does a worse job at smudging and giving my makeup a messy look compared to other mascaras. I worry this problem would get worse in the summer. Considering it’s one of the most expensive mascaras I’ve tried I think I’ll keep looking for the perfect one.

Mascra
After buying from John Lewis for the first time I was impressed. Twice i have purchased from this site and both times the mascra has been bad. It always clumps together and makes a mess of my eyes.
