Only moisturiser I have ever re-bought
My face tends to get quite oily and so I stuggle with some moisturisers as they tend to make it worse. This is so lightweight and offers the perfect level of moisture without feeling like it's clogging up my skin. It does have a sticky texture but personally i quite like it - I find that because of this it does act as a great base for make-up, as others have said. Similarly, in the winter I find I do need that extra level of moisture (the yellow bottle clinique sells is great for this) but for everyday use throughout the year this one is my favourite. I use morning and night all over my face and neck, and it doesn't irritate at all.

Sticky, dry and caused breakouts
I thought given the description of this product that it would be suitable for my skin (other non oil based products like the DD gel and the moisture surge have been) but no - this felt sticky going on and my skin felt tight and dry but worst of all were the breakouts. My skin has not suffered so much since I was a teenager, it has been horribly upsetting to say the least, it's so bad it's almost verging on allergic reaction. I am now stuck with a huge bottle that cost me over £30 which I can't return to Boots (although I had a sample, it was small and only lasted two days which obviously wasn't long enough for me to check for a reaction) - does anybody know how to return product to Clinique and get my money back?

Excellent hydration product
I cannot rave about this product enough I'm so pleased with it, I'm 49 years old and I've tried many many products to stop dry skin over the years but this is the only product that has actually worked and left my skin looking youthful again. I've seen a few reviews regarding a sticky texture and yes I agree it's different from a lotion and let's be honest we are all probably only used to creams or lotions so I understand some people not taking to it but all I can say is my Expires that when you put it on your skin it soaks straight in unlike creams or lotions and any tacky feeling disappears straight away which leaves my skin ready to apply foundation. I've just brought another bottle as I'm totally impressed with the results and also I can honestly say I have never ever brought a second bottle of any moisturiser in my life and I have tried many brands. Godsend!
Decided to give it a chance once I found out this jelly contains hyaluronic acid. Previously used the 3 step program (combination oily) from ages 15-24 and have replaced the usual moisturizing lotion with this jelly for the past 2 months. From the moment I've started using Clinique products, I've had great skin but over the past few weeks of using this jelly - it's improved visibly. My skin feels much fresher than before and together with the 72-hour moisture surge moisturiser, this is my all-time favorite skin care product.

Very good. Sinks straight in.
I usually like quite a thick moisturizer but started using this one when on holiday a couple of years ago (as a sample). Loved how it sucked straight into my skin and I could apply my make up really easily over the top. I am now using it as my normal daycream as it's great. Does as above, but also seems to tighten my skin a little - in a good way as I'm 38 and trying to fight the 'first wrinkles' battle!! Would love it to have SPF in somehow though, then it would be 100% a 5* product.

Light hydration, slightly sticky
Bought this as an alternative to the dramatically different moisturising lotion. This is actually a little bit lighter and leaves a slight tackiness when applied. This makes it quite good under make up as it helps the foundation 'adhere' to your face. However, if you're just going barefaced, I would probably stick to the dramatically different lotion as it doesn't have the slightly tacky finish. It's relatively non shine and absorbs easily into the skin. I'd buy this again, but wouldn't necessarily pay full price

Wow!
I never considered myself a 'more than one moisturiser' kind of guy. But this arrived free with another purchase. I have been using it on and off since October. It's brilliant! I usually use the Anti Age Moisturiser for men, and then this when I want something that will absorb quickly so I can get in bed or carry on with my day (I tend to use this in an evening after washing and exfoliating). Not that the other moisturiser is bad! It's just quite thick. This is a very light moisturiser, it absorbs very quickly and leaves my face feeling fresh. And people always ask what I use on my face (though I'm not yet able to admit I'm the sort of chap that has two moisturisers on the go)! I've also used it after shaving and felt no irritation and the following day my skin was clear, no red bumps. A must have gentlemen (and ladies)!

I think I've found the perfect moisturiser
I didn't bother with a trial. I just rocked up to a Clinique counter and bought this as soon as I could. I was so confident that it was what I needed. I had tried Moisture Surge and it was great. Pep Start too was amazing, but this jelly is perfect for my combination skin which is a combo of extremely dry and extremely greasy. It creates a perfect balance and my dry areas don't feel dry and tight after use and I've not had a random break out in my t zone since I started using this. I hope the travel size comes out soon for us road warriors.
