Poor replacement
I was disappointed to find, that I could no longer get my trusted moisture surge tinted moisturiser. The girl at the Clinique counter, advised me that this was the replacement for the above mentioned, as it had now been discontinued! Sadly after trying it, I had to return the product. As soon as it touched my skin, I could not blend it. It looked dry and very patchy, and I could feel it was going to irritate my skin, so removed it immediately. Please bring back the moisture surge tinted moisturiser, it was gentle on my skin, giving the light coverage I want. Still trying to find a suitable replacement, may have to try other brands.

I didn't like this product at all
I was looking for a tinted moisturiser and the chat member of staff advised me to get this product. I didn't like it at all unfortunately. It has a strong chemical smell and actually felt drying rather than hydrating. I couldn't wait to take it off my face. I've used the Even Better foundation and the City Block spf25 for years but have noticed the last few products I've bought from Clinique including this one have this strong chemical smell that I can't tolerate, it's a headache/migraine trigger type smell and smells toxic. Overall, not recommended. Clinique, please design a tinted moisturiser that doesn't have a chemical smell, thank you.

Having discontinued the moisture surge tinted moisturiser SPF 15 that myself ( and many of my friends) have been using I was eagerly awaiting the launch of the new product that replaced it. I am very disappointed the colours are completly different and did not match my skin tone at all I hate the feel of the new product on my skin. It is totally different to the previous moisture surge tinted moisturiser. Such a shame! I notice many people have said the same and I have spoken to consultants and they said they receive complaints all the time that customers have been disappointed and asked why oh why did you change the original product!!! You should listen to your customers!!!

Very disappointing
I have used a wide range of Clinique products for more than 10 years. Along with the skincare products my favourite is the moisture surge tinted moisturiser spf15. Now that this has sadly been discontinued the Clinique consultant recommmended the new moisture surge sheertint hydrator spf25. What a disappointment! It is clumpy and does not provide smooth coverage (despite extensive use of other moisturiser underneath). It also produces mild raised redness on my cheeks. In addition the colour range does not suit me. I find the universal light medium too pale whilst the next colour (medium) is so much darker. All in all a huge disappointment. Please bring back the original formula!

Tinted Moisturiser Convert
I've always been conscious of my hyperpigmentation, so always used a medium-heavy foundation to cover it, however, I've recently swapped my foundation for this tinted moisturiser and am a definite convert. It's light enough to look natural to wear every day but still has enough coverage to make me feel confident that my pigmentation/skintone is covered enough and gives me an overall glow. I'm surprised other reviews mention that it's oily as I really don't think that's the case, I'd say I have normal-oily skin but I think it goes on really nicely and lasts through the day, without making my skin feel oily at all. Brucey bonus that it contains SPF too!

Bring back the old version!
I've used Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser SPF 15 for years to provide light everyday cover for my dry skin. I was very disappointed when it was discontinued, but was assured by live chat team that this 'upgraded product' rebranded product would work as a replacement. However it is awful! Too thick and clumpy, not as moisturising as previous product and coverage not as natural looking. I will not be buying again and having used Clinique products for 20 years will now be looking elsewhere. I see I am not alone with this opinion- the question is will you listen to your previously loyal customers??????

Very disappointed
I was using the moisture surge tinted moisturizer which I absolutely loved, as it has been replaced by the sheertint hydrator I expected to love this but sadly not. I am not able to use moisturizer under it which I have always done, also this means I cannot use the moisture surge eye under it. I find that it does not absorb like the old product and leaves a bitty finish. I used to apply with a brush and was recommended trying with my fingertips which has helped but it is still nowhere near as good as the old product. It is such a shame as I use most of the moisture surge products and have loved them up now.

Bring back the old formula!
When the moisture surge tinted moisturizer was discontinued for the second time since I've been using it, I was assured it was being replaced with a better one. I tried out a sample of this new formula and was so disappointed. The overall texture and substance is nothing like the previous one, much more oily on the skin and not easily absorbed at all. Coverage was patchy and quite awful. After two days of trialing it my skin also showed signs of blocked pores and a few breakouts in oily areas. I quickly stopped using it. It is so frustrating when a perfectly great product, that loyal customers having been happily using for years, gets discontinued. Please bring back the old formula Clinique!

I had a tester in Universal light medium, which is the closest shade? I'd rather go a little lighter than darker.
