Amazing foundation
I bought this foundation along with the Double Wear and this one is definitely better for my slightly dry skin. It hydrates the skin and feels thin and smooth but with the same full coverage. Note - after reading other reviews that this foundation runs slightly darker than most due to a high SPF, I bought a lighter shade for my skin tone, which was definitely the right idea as it is the same colour as my darker Double Wear. Something to consider when picking your shade!

Incredible
I am blown away by this foundation and I have tried a lot. I was a little concerned as I am prone to some oil in my t zone but this foundation has worn beautifully (I do always set my foundation with powder and it will be interesting to see if it is as good in the summer as it is currently the depths of winter) I have never tried a foundation with such a beautiful finish, it really makes my skin glow and I have received compliments on the days I have worn it. I have uneven skin tone with some rosacea and this foundation makes my skin look incredible. I do use some concealer over my foundation in the problem areas for a little extra coverage but I have to do this with all foundations. As someone who has struggled with my skin all my life I finally feel that I have found a product that makes me feel incredible. Thank you Estée Lauder!

Gorgeous skin
I bought this foundation about a month ago and totally love it. Really lovely dewy finish. All I would say is that you definitely need powder in some areas but I would expect that from a foundation of this finish anyway. I have very fair skin and often find it hard to find a good match and this is great. I'm shade porcelain.
The only downside for me is the fragrance isn't particularly pleasant.

My new favourite!
I normally use Double Wear but sometimes when I have a bad skin day it can be a tad drying. I saw this had great reviews and being an Estee Lauder fan I got a sample. I love it so much I bought a full size and don't regret it!
It glides onto my skin beautifully and is not cakey looking. It doesn't sit in my pores or slide off. It's hydrating and leaves my skin looking so nice. The colour match is great too.
I can add more layers for a bit more coverage if I am having a bad skin day.
My new absolute favourite! Would recommend to anyone.

Hydrating and Light weight
I’ve used double wear for about 12 years, but needed something a bit lighter and not so drying, this is a lovely light foundation that still evens out the skin while hydrating the skin.

Love the finish
I’ve had this product for well over a month and love it. It gives me the same effect as the Charlotte tilbury wonder glow but doesn’t leave me as oily which is exactly what I wanted. The coverage and finish lasts all day and doesn’t transfer.
Have given it 4 stars because the shade is slightly darker than I would have liked. I bought the same shade as I have in the double wear which matcjes my skin tone, I find this slightly darker however, the overall finish is beautiful.

perfect make up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My make up was taken to another level by this amazing product. My skin was flawless, well moisturized and looked fresh all day long. This make up is lightweight but still covers very well all that shouldn´t be seen. Very happy and highly recommend it!

Estée Lauder Hydra Rescue foundation

I was wondering what this foundation is like on combination skin I can get quite an oily Tzone especially in summer.
It's not the best for combination/oily skin. I had it and had to chuck it as it didn't meet my expectations.
To me personally, so far the best I've used is Lumene Matte (oil control foundation), gives full coverage but is very nice and light. I use a sponge and tap it on my face. If it's very hot, you will need to touch it up but for me it's the best one out there. Give it a try

I was the same shade in this foundation as I was in the water fresh. Only way to totally make sure is to get a sample in store when they are open. Feelunique had the best price so ordered from them. It is a really good foundation and I have now swapped from the water fresh

Hi, which shade would I choose if I'm N2 in MAC Face and Body and Light/medium in Stila Hide & Chic) please? (I have tried desert beige and it wasn't quite right).
I am using ivory beige and would also have used N2 in MAC and I love it.
