This Stuff actually works!!
I’ve been highlighting my hair ( full head ) blonde for a few years and over time especially in winter the colour does eventually fade always quicker than you want it to ( I get mine done every 6 months as can’t really afford to get it done more). I always heard about these lightening shampoos/conditioners and tried a few and they never made a difference. But honestly this stuff actually does! My hair has completely kept its nice colour and my roots don’t come through as dark as they use to. It definitely has made my hair stay lovely and blonde and has toned up the colour nicely.

My blonde is definitely blonder...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo... well hurray for actually working. It is one of the better blondes shampoo's I've used. I have quite thick hair with blonde and brunette colours. I did think it would just lighten the blondes but I was wrong. Not only did it lighten the blondes and stop them from going a copper colour it actually lightened the brunette in my hair too. I used it alongside the conditioner twice a week but I seen results after the first wash. You really don't need to use a lot of this product though.

Brighter Blonde without salon price-tag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VERY surprised at how much brighter my bleach blonde highlights have gone after only five washes.....I was expecting this product to be a purple-based toning shampoo, however, I was pleasantly surprised that it is a thick, silky, lemon-toned shampoo - which lathers so well - even with the smallest amount used. It is so conditioning - which is what my hair needed, as it normally tangles so easily. Would definitely purchase again....i normally spend so much more money having a "colour brightening" service at the hair salon - not any more....very happy lady!

Companies fixing things that aren't broken
I have used this product with love since its release from my 20s to my 40s and I am very disappointed by the recent formula change in the pink hue packaging. Many ingredients have been removed and added and my hair has turned from shiny, bouncy and full to dull, lank and lifeless. Sad loss of a great product. Why do companies insist on fixing things that aren't broken?.

Awful new smell of cheap sweets
I’ve been using Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner (citrus and camomile) for years with absolute happiness. Then they changed the formulation to some gruesome pong that is a cross between a cheap sweet shop and a tart’s boudoir. Can’t stand this.

Works on highlighted hair like a Pro!
I brought this 2 weeks ago, when I had got highlights done which were an odd brassy colour. I was so upset, and searched online and came across this shampoo, and am I glad I did! With two washes I saw a difference, no more brassiness! It has left my hair beautifully coloured.

Ruined a great product
I’ve used John Frieda blonde products for over 20 years and swore by it religiously. I’d been using the ‘go blonder’ products since they were released and loved them. Recently they have changed the fragrance (to ‘Citrus botanical blend’ from ‘citrus and chamomile’), the packaging (now pink), and seemingly the formulation. The new formulation smells awful and overpowering, no longer cleans my hair fully (leaving it looking slightly greasy and requiring washing more regularly), has led to increased hair breakage, and caused cystic acne on my scalp and hairline. It is very clear that when this product was consumer tested (if they even bothered to) that they didn’t do so with existing customers. Do not buy this product if you care about your hair or skin. I certainly won’t be any longer!

The new smell is terrible!
I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for a long time an you changed the smell! It smelled so good before!
