Chemical reaction to dye
I bought the highlighting shampoo and conditioner just after I had my hair dyed approx 8weeks ago. I have really noticed a difference in the colour the last few week. I went to the hairdressers today who used the normal dye and within a few minutes had to rinse from my hair as the foils were so hot if burnt my head. The hairdresser has never seen this before and I’ve never had a reaction before. I’ll now stop using the shampoo and won’t be able to have my hair coloured for a few weeks.
If anyone has any advise it would be appreciated, on next steps. I used it because it said it was suitable for dyed or balayaged hair.

Amazing, recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always thought that shampoo didn't do much except clean my hair, conditioner des all the hard work. But I've been proved wrong. Immediately on using this product my hair is shinier and softer, smoother and my blonde is brighter.
Even if I skip the conditioner this shampoo moisturises so well. It lathers well, it's rich and thick and you really don't need to use much. It leaves my hair moisturised but not weighed down. I have thick wavy hair and it really smooths it.
Normally I wash my hair every two to theee days, with this I can manage only two but it's worth it, my hot has never looked better.

Amazing blonde results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sheer Blonde shampoo is fabulous for my chemically treated blonde hair. I am constantly on the look out for shampoos that will hydrate my fragile blonde hair and this is a product that I will now be regularly using. I love the addition of the Avocado oil, which is becoming increasingly more popular for its health and beauty benefits. The shampoo lathers up really nicely and leaves hair feeling hydrated and soft, unlike the brittle after effects of many shampoos. I would most definitely recommend this product and will be making regular purchases of this product.

Smells amazing
I've only been using this shampoo/conditioner for 1 week and didn't think it would brighten my blonde hair but trusted the John Frieda name. I've tried lots of shampoos that promise to hydrate the hair,brighten blonde hair and they're very expensive but this shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair silky smooth and it has made my blonde brighter which i really wanted as the brassy look isn't good, also I was very impressed with how well I could get a comb through it afterwards as usually my hair knots badly. I will recommended to all my friends. Very happy Thankyou

Too heavy with avocado oil
Have been using this product for years but the addition of avocado oil makes this product far too heavy for my hair - it looked more greasy after I'd washed it than before - bring back a version without avocado oil. Have stopped using John Frieda products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] John Frieda is an expert in creating shampoos that are a must have for all blondes. I often find that as a blonde, it's much harder to get shiny looking hair compared to brunette hair...well not anymore. This is the only moisturising and hydrating shampoo that makes my hair shine without it looking greasy! It's also AMAZING at highlighting the duller darker tones in my hair giving me brighter, softer and more vibrant hair. Blondes definitely have more fun with this product.

No difference
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping this shampoo would give me nicely moisturised hair in this gloriously warm but drying weather. If it could brighten the highlights and banish the brassiness between colouring, that would be a bonus so I couldn't wait to try this shampoo as I usually find John Frieda products work wonderfully on my long locks. Unfortunately, my hair doesn't look or feel any more moisturised than before using it, and I can't really see any difference in the yellow tones. Maybe, using the product for longer would have a more noticeable effect.
