Complimented my oily t zone
I bought this product after falling in love with the midnight recovery oil which has worked wonders in evening out the tone of my oily skin. I've been using the cleansing oil once a day in the evenings for a few weeks and it really compliments the use of the oil. I was a little apprehensive in using oil on my oily skin but the product description assured me that as it is mineral oil free this wouldn't happen. It's been amazing! Not only does it leave my skin feeling fresh but it takes off my stubborn make up too. A great product with a handy pump applicator - definitely one that i'll be buying again and again.

Ruined my skin
I bought this about 4 weeks ago for the sole purpose of removing sunscreen off my face. I have normal combination skin and have never had trouble with oil on my face before. I used this and at first thought my skin was purging but then I started to get whiteheads and spots in places i never ever get them. Then i started to get really painful ones. I stopped it straight away and went back to my normal cleanser. I so wanted to love this product but I'm so disappointed. And I've found that people rave about it but it's all the same reviews everywhere. So this oil product or oil cleansing method may not be for you

Baby Soft Skin
I've never used an oil cleanser before, and after being so impressed with the Dark Spot Corrector Serum, I decided to try another Kiehls product. After first use my skin felt baby soft, and really hydrated and plump the next morning. I used the oil cleanser, then a clay mask, followed by the oil cleanser again to attempt 'skin gritting'. The combination meant I was able to massage my blackheads and they literally slid out of my skin. Amazing!

Usually like Kiehl’s but just couldn’t this time
I was expecting something a lot better. I was looking for an oil makeup remover to melt off my makeup and mascara. Unfortunately this is very fragranced, a bit too much. I felt like it was stinging my eyes, and it clouded them a bit when it got in them whilst I tried to rub the mascara away. I’ve definitely tried better oil cleansers that took less effort removing eye makeup.
I also found it made me break out.. so it’s a big fat no from me

Best Cleanser for Rosacea!
The best cleanser out there for highly sensitive skin! I have rosacea and struggled for years trying to find a cleanser that didn’t irritate my cheeks. I think oil works better to melt the makeup away (as opposed to balms like Elemis) as i don’t have to rub my face harshly which therefore minimises the redness!
This bottle lasts me around 2 months if I use in the day and at night - a little goes a long way. Well worth the price.

Very cleansing, good for removing makeup and oil
I have been using this for one month and it is amazing! It works so well to remove makeup and I also use it when I don't wear makeup. I have acne skin so removin oil is a must for me, this works best when combined with the Calednula cleansing foam I have found. I use this first then the Calendula cleansing foam. I have very dry skin and I find that this combination helps to stop it from drying it out further (which usually happens when I use cleansers alone). I also found that my cystic acne reduced within the month (although my skin is still problematic), it helps the cystic acne reduce by the morning and within a few days it helps to clear it completely. Although it's very pricey, it's deffo a must have and a little goes a long way! I've only used a tiny bit within one month (twice a day usage for both products) and I can see it will most likely last me 6-8 months.

Perfect for removing stubborn makeup
Wish I had bought this sooner! I originally bought this as I heard great reviews of this being excellent for removing makeup and it still exceeded expectations. You only need a few pumps and it makes your makeup glide off. I do feel it is a bit pricy but 100% worth it considering how little you use. It smells lovely too and feels luxurious every time.

The Best
I use this cleanser when my skin flares up and dries out and I'm always left with hydrated and smooth skin. I find it especially effective in removing my eye makeup as I wear indestructible waterproof mascara! I use 1-2 pumps and it does the job effortlessly. Does not sting the eyes or make them blurry. The bottle has lasted me ages!
