Clogged lashes, poor product
I usually buy Lançome Definicils Mascara but thought I would try a new type of mascara, plus Feelunique didn’t stock Definicils at time of purchase. The Hypnose Drama has been a bit of a drama... mascara is thick and feels dry so it clogs up your eyelashes and it’s diffucult to separate the lashes once applied. I’ve tried swapping the wand with my old mascara, but application still poor. Plus it’s waterproof so harder to remove yet weirdly has blotched panda-style around my eyes during the day. I am super disappointed with this expensive product... just waiting for it to run out then I’m going back to Lançome Definicils.

Disappointed
Does what it says on the box in terms of lift and volume even with just one coat but oh my I look like a panda after 2 hours of wear! I have oily lids and I get so hot wearing PPE so it smudges A LOT! Very disappointed as I needed a mascara that would last me throughout my 13-hour shift. More so that I work in the hospital and don’t have the luxury to look at myself in the mirror every 2 seconds plus with the pandemic going on, can’t be touching my face to rub under my eyes. I gave it a try for a week at home and at work to give it a good fair chance. I use an oil cleanser so this literally just melts when I wash my face, very easy to remove. Unfortunately, not the mascara I’m looking for!

Very disappointing!
I got this mascara as my usual was sold out so I thought I’d branch out and try something new... despite the price tag I’m on the verge of putting it in the bin. After 2/3 hours of wearing I’m getting mascara imprints under my eyebrows. I do have oily eyes which is why I always buy waterproof/ smudge proof but it’s just not working. The actual formula is quite clumpy and is hard work to get through your lashes evenly without them sticking together. It’s a no from me.

My must have mascara
I have been using this product for years. Even though I have tried other mascaras that have come out along the way (benefit, este Lauder, eyeko) I end up using them only a couple of times before I revert back to this.
It can take a little practice to get right as it is a somewhat "thick" mascara (hence the dramatic effect!). So if you are slightly too heavy and don't twist the wand you can get a clump - but this is easy to rectify.
Stays put too (definitely passes the cry test.... I am a cryer so waterproof mascara is essential!)

I’ve had better
I used to love Lancôme mascaras and then moved away to other brands. I thought I’d try them again but it’s not as I remember, I’m not sure if it’s because I went for a waterproof mascara instead of the regular one. The formula was so thick it’s made my lashes look like chunky spider legs. I also got a stye from my tear duct getting clogged. I work in an opticians so I’m very careful about my eye makeup and cleaning off my makeup as soon as I get home, this is the first time I’ve ever had a stye and from discussing with my colleagues, this mascara was the culprit. I tried to water it down a bit with some saline solution but that made things worse and I had panda eyes by lunchtime. I ended up throwing it out. I’ll stick with sephoras own brand for waterproof mascara from now on

Really impressed!
I have spent years looking for a mascara that doesn’t smudge under my eyes, and have finally found one! This really is waterproof (you’ll need an oil based remover!) and it’s also versatile; one coat is great for day time but apply more than one coat to get a more dramatic look. I never write reviews, but feel this product deserves one! I have re-bought this product a few times now and it’s a staple in my makeup bag.

Bobby & Clumpy Mascara
I have found this very clumpy. There is no ring insert at the top of the tube to prevent excessive mascara on the brush so I've had to resort to wiping it off before attempting to use it. Then I have to wipe my lashes with a cotton bud to get the blobs off the ends of my lashes. All in all, a complete failure so I won't be buying this again. Not really worth even one star.

Waterproof mascara
I have the non waterproof version, which I repeatedly buy as I love it. I bought the WP version for holiday, although it didn't seem to add as much volume, it definitely stayed in place and didn't run at all when in the pool, which is what I wanted to achieve. You do need eye make up remover to take it off and it can feel a bit sticky if not taken off properly.
