Amazing - but take it steady
I moved up from a lower % strength retinol to this Pauls Choice one, I would say that you need to be very careful with this product, although the results are fantastic, you need to build up use slowly. Follow the instructions very carefully and give your face plenty of hydration. There are some excellent YouTube Videos - Caroline Hirons being the most informative - I would definitely recommend this after building up to it and researching how to use properly.
But it is like a miracle product, fine lines are smoothed, skin is plumper and glows.

skin feels smooth
second time I've bought this product. has evened my skin tone over he last few months and my skin feels so smooth. hasn't worked as well on my pores as I expected.but over all is an amazing product.

Visible results with consistent use
I’m 39 and I have pale, sensitive skin that’s prone to dehydration and redness. I was sceptical as to whether my skin would tolerate retinol but having accustomed it first with the 0.3% version I had minimal issues adjusting to the 1%. My fine lines are less visible, more skin tone and texture is and my makeup sits well on my skin. I have had multiple compliments on my complexion lately which I put down to a combination of sticking with this and layering a rich moisturiser and a nourishing oil over it each night, once it has absorbed fully.

Paulas clinical retinol treatment
Love this product it’s easy to use goes on easy no dragging on skin , as long as you follow the guidelines and apply it only three times a week to begin with using product then as your skin becomes accustomed to the it you can start using it more , I now use it every night with no irritation and I have hypersensitive skin , but I did Initially start with a 0.25% retinol serum for sensitive / beginner skin which helped my skin to get used to retinol as it can be very irritating , I used the sensitive 0.25% for 6 months then when my skin could tolerate this every night I went over to the Paulas choice followed the directions and I am very happy with the results Would recommend this product if used properly.

Worthwhile investment!
A really good product. It does take a little while to kick in and your skin might purge (mine sure did)...but the results are well worth it, my skin has never felt so soft, or looked so radiant and my blemishes have reduced. It is an investment but well worth the money in my opinion, I'm a month in and can't wait to see the improvements keep coming.

Gently does it
I have used Medik8 Crystal 6 for several months and decided to swap to Paula’s Choice 1% instead of upping to Medik8 10. I have experienced a lot of dry skin, even when I buffer with niacinamide and a tonne of moisturiser. However, my skin is really soft, break outs have cleared up and it has really helped with my fine lines.
It’s a bit frustrating that I’m having to slow down with my usage but the results are worth it

Paula’s choice 1% retinol serum
Currently going through the dry skin/purge part of using retinol! However good product, only need a tiny amount to go a long way. I have very sensitive skin but this hasn’t caused me any reactions like other products in the past.
Looking forward to seeing the results!
