Why change the formula?
I used to love the build up tan, it went on even and after one application i changed colour. I got the new formula and firstly, the container feels cheap. The cream itself isn't as rich and doesn't blend as easily, it rubs in white for ages. The smell of the cream is ok, cant smell the chemical reaction smell, but the downside of that is it didnt tan me! after 3 applications i still had no colour change. Not sure why it was decided to change it but im guessing it was cut backs as the quality is nowhere near as good :( bring back the old formula!

Easy & convenient way to a natural tan
This product makes achieving a lovely natural tan so easy with no fuss or mess. It has a nice, light cream/lotion texture that applies easily and sinks in leaving no stickiness or greasiness, leaving my skin feeling soft, moisturised and firmer and looking healthier and more toned. Over a couple of hours a lovely light glow develops and with further daily applications this develops into a really nice natural tan. I love how in control I am of building up to the depth of tan I'm after, how it conditions my skin and the product smells amazing ... it reminds me of sunshine holidays and Pina Coladas :)

Long-lasting Tan!
This gradual tan lotion is great to achieve natural looking light to medium tanned glowing skin perfectly! It is perfect if you need healthy looking skin tan! No need to worry about stains on clothes or on skin, it fades without leaving patches! The nozzle of the tube is perfect to give precise amount and to control the flow. Just mix little amount to your regular moisturiser or serum and apply to the skin evenly! It will develop gradually. You can adjust quantity as per your need! New formula is awful
I am so disappointed they've changed the formula and not listened to the feedback and reverted back to the previous one. I have used this tanning lotion for years and regularly applied all year round for a continual glow but several months ago now they changed the formula which dramatically decreased the quality of the product. Recent reviews all reflect the same feedback but St Tropez don't seem to be listening. The new formula is yellow, thin, hard to apply, takes longer to dry, smells worse and leaves you very patchy. The idea of a gradual tan is to be able to regularly apply to build up an even tan but this new formula is absolutely terrible. St Tropez was always my go to tanning brand which I would continually recommend to everyone but I won't be doing that anymore and will go for alternative brands

Great product
This is a great tanning lotion for starting out, you can build your colour, it smells amazing not like usual tanning creams, it is easy to apply with a tanning mit and gives a light glow, I applied before bed and had a nice light tan with no streaks the next morning, I reapplied the next night to go a little darker and I'm impressed, doesn't leave skin feeling greasy, it absorbed in to the skin very well.

Marvellous tint
I was lucky enough to receive this product to review. At first a bit sceptical as it was light to medium and I prefer a darker colour.
However I was pleasantly surprised, it gives a great spent the day at the beach kind of glow. So easy to apply, just like using your after shower moisturiser, no streaks, snells great too. Used for three days in a row and gave a great colour , thoroughly recommend

Really lovely colour
Product runs in well and application is easy. The smell isn’t great but it does fade away. The result is really lovely and a good light colour that you build over a few days. It isn’t streaky and doesn’t transfer either! Super happy with it! Also just so easy if you need to quickly do your legs and don’t have time to fully tan!

Looks natural and flawless!
This tan looks so natural, it's brilliant! It's very easy to apply, absorbs quickly and gives a light to medium colour, leaving my skin looking flawless! I love that it contains moisturising ingredients, as it makes my skin feel so smooth and hydrated. It's a great product and I've recommended it to lots of my friends!
