Poor coverage and too sparkly
A tiny and expensive purchase so I had higher than average expectations. Firstly I was disappointed with the coverage of this product if anything it settled in places and exentuated fine lines. It does not work as a loose powder as advertised. I expected some shimmer (illuminating) but personally I found it had a high level of sparkle and is def. not suitable for everyday wear on my pale skin. I am so frustrated as I did read reviews first. Instead of throwing it away I can only really find use for it as a an shadow and highlighter. Sadly I do not recommend this product.

BareMinerals are excellent, the only make up you can sleep in that is actually doing your skin good, as well as making you look good with the minimum of effort, and that's not easy when you are 60!

An amazing alternative!
I have used Clinique Gentle Light Loose Powder with reflecting particles for years but like all these products they eventually get discontinued. I have been hunting for an alternative product for probably 4 years now and have tried every loose powder on the market - literally!!! That is until now ...... the Bare Minerals Illuminating Veil, mixed with my matt loose powder offers exactly the same finish and gives a lovely hint of sparkle to your skin which lasts all day!
It's a really pretty look for the summer in particular and a superb alternative. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled across Bare Minerals Illuminating Veil and will continue using this product together with my other loose powder forever I think!

As with all of my other mineral products the mineral veil is the icing on the cake. These products have made my early morning routine fast and flawless.My early shifts at work now have me arriving ready for my day feeling able to face the public feeling confident and assured I look my best.

Gives you a lovely glow.
I bought this as I was fed up of looking too powdery/ cakey. This doesn't do either of those,& the illuminating effect lasts all day. You only need a small amount though, otherwise it's too shimmery.
