Best Aveda product for thick coarse hair
I have very thick hair which is also slightly coarse, dry and frizzy. I found this better than Smooth Infusion for detangling, moisturising and defrizzing, and just sitting better. Also better than Colour Conserve though it doesn't smell as nice! I will continue to buy this. The conditioner is very thick and hard to get out of the bottle. Aveda, please could you make the larger size in a tube too?

Great for adding mositure
I use this alongside the Sap Moss Shampoo. This reduces my frizz and adds moisture. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, which is wavy/frizzy. I don't like the smell as much as the colour care range - this has a woody smell - it's not unpleasant, but it's not what I would choose. I would highly recommend though.

Doesn't get my vote - unfortunately :(
Having read about the product and reviews here, I was really looking forward to trying this. However it was no good for my fine coloured long hair, it was quite tangled after use. The tangle teaser did go through better than expected without too much fall out, but I expected a better performance for the price. It does have a pleasant scent and my hair did appear to be shinier than usual when dried, but the following day it looked greasy like it was over conditioned or oiled. My scalp also felt itchy and flaky at the front. Just not for me.

Amazing like the shampoo
I've tried both products and they are fantastic, highly recommend. I actually prefer this to the damage repair. Very hydrating and doesn't make your hair greasy.

Life changing!
I had heard all the hype about the Sap Moss products and was very dubious as I've tried every make of shampoo & conditioner for curly/ frizzy hair that has ever been on the market. Wow- what a difference in only a couple of uses. I've very thick hair and only need a small amount of product, so this counteracts the price of the products, so definitely worth it!

It works!
Together with the shampoo, this conditioned was an unexpected surprise. I love Aveda, and the shampure range was my go-to ... but the sap moss range works like a dream on my frizzy hair.

Super moisturizing!
I have type 4 low porosity afro hair and this conditionner works really well for me! It is very moisturising and get absorbed very well by my hair! It is also light enough to not be rinsed completely and left on for extra moisture. And a little goes a long way, which is great.

Better than the shampoo equivalent
Purchased this as a duo with the shampoo. The conditioner is actually better smelling than the shampoo and feels very easy to apply to hair. Rinses out well, and hair is quite easy to brush through after washing (normally I get a birds-nest type mess which takes a lot of time to detangle). I bought this in the 400ml container and my only downside is that it is actually quite challenging to squeeze the product out of the bottle, despite it being more than half full.
