The best shampoo I've ever used!
I have type 4 afro hair with a sensitive itchy scalp and finding a good shampoo that cleans my hair and my scalp efficiently without drying my hair has always been a struggle. This shampoo has been a game changer for me. My hair and my scalp feel really clean after, yet my hair still feels moisturised and soft! And my scalp is not itchy for days!

The shampoo I've been waiting for!
I have very fine, long, post-menopausal hair! To date I've been using the Pure Abundance shampoo and conditioner, but found the conditioner didn't do the best job detangling my hair. This Sap Moss shampoo and conditioner leave my hair shiny, bouncy, smooth and full of volume. I just love it. Even my husband commented on how good my hair was looking, so what higher praise can you achieve!!? You do need to follow the instructions though, as only a small amount is needed and it allows better distribution when rubbed in the hands first.

Sap Moss Shampoo/Conditioner
This product combined with the Sap Moss Conditioner, is amazing! I have always found my hair to frizz after drying, be it naturally or with a hair dryer. The frizz has literally disappeared and at the end of the day my hair still looks like it's just been done. Thank you for creating these products, I am so pleased.

I love this and would buy again.
I have fine hair, but a lot of it and it's also wavy/curly, so it tends to go quite frizzy and all over the place. This adds moisture and keeps the waves under control and looking lovely all day. I don't like the smell as much as the Colour Care range - this is more of a natural woody smell - which isn't unpleasant, but I wouldn't choose it if I had a choice. Would highly recommend though.

Dry hair? What dry hair??
I have struggled with my menopausal dry hair for the last 6 month and have tried so many different styling products all to no avail. This shampoo and conditioner have controlled it in less than 2 weeks! My hair is now stylable and soft. It is not flyaway at all either. I have not used my straighteners in this time and am once again happy with my hair (it's shoulder length and I thought my only option was to have it cut!! Not now). I think you need to use both shampoo and conditioner. As with most Aveda products too, a little goes a long way.

Great shampoo
I highly recommend this shampoo, it's left my hair feeling so soft and clean. At first I was a bit shocked at the colour and texture of the shampoo but it works a treat. It's left my hair feeling much more manageable and calmed the frizz. I recommend you use it with the sap moss conditioner. Submitted as part of a free sample.

Excellent concentrated shampoo
This is extremely concentrated so you need to add plenty of water to distribute it through your hair. As all Aveda products, you don't need much. I paired it with the Sap Moss conditioner and I found it really does soften and hydrate hair without the heavy silicone feel. It means I can style my hair wavy or straight, depending on what I prefer. I am not keen on the smell but it does not last.

Unexpected
The shampoo has a light brown colour and looks a bit like a clay mask, so I wasn't sure how this could possibly be hydrating... but I was wrong. I love this shampoo and noticed a difference after a few washes. My hair is naturally dry and wavy, but feels hydrated and manageable after using this shampoo (even without the conditioner). And it smells great too.
